Following the recent devastating floods in New South Wales and the profound impact they have had on all turf growers in the affected areas, last April TurfBreed decided to re-direct funds from its sponsorship of Turf Australia to the Benevolent Fund.

TurfBreed has also added additional funding into the Turf Australia’s Benevolent Fund, again, to be accessed by all NSW growers in need of support in recovering from the flood devastation.

According to TurfBreed’s managing director, Steve Burt: “It is TurfBreed’s view that Turf Australia is the appropriate organisation to manage and allocate available short-term support to those growers most in need.”

“TurfBreed acknowledges all the support Turf Australia has given NSW flood impacted growers to date and is delighted they have supported our actions in the redirection of these funds,” Steve said.

In addition to this immediate support, TurfBreed will continue to work with, and support all our NSW growers impacted by these floods in their long-term recovery.
