TurfBreed’s 2023 National Growers Conference is shaping-up to be one of the best to date with leading local and international speakers helping shape a first-class agenda.
This not-to-be-missed event, held at Albury in New South Wales from 28-30 May 2023, is titled “Cut Above”, emphasising how quality, marketing, innovation and being better than your opposition will give TurfBreed’s growers a greater chance of raising their “bar” within the industry.
One of the key events will be the Field Day held at Kentucky Turf Farm Nursery based at Bundalong near the Murray River in north-eastern Victoria.
Owned by the Brew Family, Kentucky Turf Farm Nursery was one of the first TurfBreed farms to trial TurfBreed’s new IronCutter™ Hybrid Bermudagrass. On February 14th 2022, Kentucky Turf Farm sod planted in a 15m2 area, with 150mm spacing, on loamy sand soil.
Since then, the site has expanded and mother stock has been further planted for future commercial production.
When visiting the farm at TurfBreed’s Conference Field Day the proof of IronCutter™ Hybrid Bermudagrass’ uniqueness will be seen up close and explained in detail by TurfBreed’s RnD team and owners of the Worldwide Marketing Rights, Mountain View Seeds.
On hand will be a leading panel of National and International experts offering everything there is to know about IronCutter™ Elite Hybrid Bermudagrass in both Australia and the United States and how it compares with other leading Bermudagrass varieties on the Australian market.
Set on the farm’s mother stock site of IronCutter™, the Q&A panel, will outline why IronCutter™ Elite Hybrid Bermudagrass is going to change the face of Bermudagrass in the Australian turf industry.
