TurfBreed has rolled out the next stage in the evolution of the myhomeTURF retail brand. The launch of the myhomeTURF online shop aims to expand the site’s existing digital footprint and provide a mechanism where growers can value add to their customers experience beyond a turf sale. With over a million visits to the myhomeTURF(MHT) website since its launch in 2018, the logical next phase in the MHT story was to rollout an online shop to further leverage the site’s online presence.

Most importantly the online shop will complement the quality turf that growers supply by offering premium fit-for-purpose lawn care products to their valued customers.

MHT has partnered with one of the premium lawn care providers on the market, LawnPride who have an established reputation and already work alongside many TurfBreed growers and resellers.

“MHT is expanding on our existing digital footprint and building our presence by locking into the post turf sale lawn care market,” TurfBreed managing director Steve Burt explained.

“We chose to partner with LawnPride because they have a wide range of premium products and already support many of our growers and resellers.

“This phase of the MHT evolution is another value add for growers who can offer specific lawn care solutions to their customers.”

TurfBreed’s IT manager, Katrina Taylor explained that the online shop has been launched with the capacity to have grower-branded clone stores, so all the TurfBreed grower community have the option to participate.

“Grower branded online shops will soon be available to all TurfBreed growers. This is a great opportunity for those who are already LawnPride stockists as they can use this as a lead into ongoing sales via the online store,” Katrina said.

“COVID-19 has seen a major shift to online shopping which has become convenient and essential in today’s changing environment. It is important MHT is part of this new online market.”

Steve Burt further added that it was important to have MHT known as not only supplying premium quality turf but also premium lawn care product and advice.

“It is vital to keep up with what the market is demanding – and the DIY market wants everything in one place for ease and convenience,” he said.

“We want the online shop to be recognised as offering some of the best lawn care products on the market that will prepare our customers lawn for every season.”

The online shop contains a large range of premium fertilisers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and amendment products.
